CCN awards photographers in the “Retrata de Corazón lo Mejor de María Trinidad” contest
The opening speech was delivered by Roxana Soto, Corporate Marketing and Communications Manager for CCN; and the award ceremony was conducted by Natacha Quiterio, Senior Manager of Corporate Marketing, Communications and Financial Retail for the company; Maria Elena Moré, Director of Marketing and Communications at the School of Design Altos de Chavon and on behalf of the jury, Carlos Acero and Adolfo Lucero.
Roxana Soto explained that since last September, participants had the opportunity to register and upload their work in the two digital platforms available for the contest, microsite and Instagram. This year, the were able to innovate by adding the new available platform - Instagram, thus encouraging the participation of both professionals photographers and those new to the job.”
This competition has established itself as one of the leading of its kind, with five editions, over 500 participating photographs, more than 200 artists, more than 10 exhibitions in 4 cities in the country and samples in the United States and Europe ", she added.
The jury was composed by Carlos Acero and Adolfo Lucero, who have reputation in the world of photography and were responsible for preselecting and choosing the winners in both platforms, both conceptually and artistically.
